The Wonderbag company recently partnered with CapeNature and the Gouritz Cluster Biosphere Reserve (GCBR) to donate 1 000 DIY kits towards their climate change project.
The project which was launched in Oudtshoorn aims to improve job creation and help disadvantaged households fight climate change by providing them with the necessary tools.
Through this project, they have also trained two groups of women to make the Wonderbag cooking bags.
According to an online report, the project will benefit community members by providing them with information on climate change, as well as tips and tools on how to conserve the environment, use water wisely and save electricity and other sources of fuel.
