Sweet, slow-cooked carrots and beautifully tender meat make this Irish Stout Stew the perfect, hearty meal to serve on a cold day. And of course, it’s a must for any true Irish celebration! We love to serve it with herbed mashed potatoes or crusty bread, preferably in a bowl so that you do not miss out on any of the delicious gravy! I like to use slightly marbled meat, as a bit of fat just makes it extra yummy. For a wonderful alternative, you can also make herbed dumplings and pop them on top of the stew once it comes out of the Wonderbag. Just give it an extra 15 minutes on the stove gently simmering with the lid on for the dumplings to cook. You’ll have everyone coming for more!
